The four-time world champion doesn’t wear the paddock’s Richard Mille – Max Verstappen is a TAG Heuer man, and celebrated his titles with a custom-built Monaco. These are the watches on the wrist of F1’s dominant force.
While much of the grid wears Richard Mille, Max Verstappen goes his own way with TAG Heuer. Red Bull has had TAG as a partner since 2016, and in 2025 – the same year TAG Heuer became Formula 1’s official timekeeper – Verstappen became an individual ambassador. He was noted for “breaking the Richard Mille monopoly” in the paddock.

TAG Heuer – four titles celebrated in a Monaco
Verstappen received a custom-built TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph to celebrate four straight world titles (2021–2024), and has also been seen with a Formula 1 Calibre 16 “Max Verstappen” Special Edition and a Carrera Chronograph in 18K gold. When he marked his 2025 Miami pole with a five-figure TAG, it was described as breaking the Richard Mille pack’s grip on the paddock.
Beyond TAG – Rolex in gold and platinum
Verstappen doesn’t only wear his own brand. Privately he has been seen with several Rolex Cosmograph Daytonas – a yellow-gold one with a champagne dial and a platinum Daytona with an ice-blue dial – as well as a Rolex Sky-Dweller in yellow gold. Among the private gems is a Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968G in white gold with a blue dial. An important nuance against F1 culture: Verstappen does not wear Richard Mille, and there is no evidence of Audemars Piguet – his private taste leans towards Rolex and Patek.
