Carlos Sainz watches – Richard Mille during the Ferrari years
During his four years at Ferrari, Carlos Sainz wore some of Richard Mille’s most exclusive models. Here are the watches – and the honest picture of what was his own and what came with the team.
Carlos Sainz was frequently seen with Richard Mille during his Ferrari years (2021–2024). It is important to be honest, though: this was about Ferrari’s RM partnership rather than a personal ambassador deal. Since moving to Williams, he has been seen more sparingly with watches.

Richard Mille – and a Girard-Perregaux in Cannes
Sainz wore a series of Richard Mille during his Ferrari period: RM UP-01 Ferrari (the world’s thinnest watch in 2022), RM 11-03 in rose gold/titanium with a red Ferrari strap, RM 67-02 “Italy” and RM 011 Felipe Massa “Black Knight”. One RM 67-02 was even stolen from his wrist in Milan in September 2023, hours after the Monza podium – Sainz chased down the thieves and got it back. But unlike Leclerc, he has no personal RM deal; he is an RM wearer, not an ambassador. His strongest own, non-Ferrari piece appeared on the red carpet in Cannes 2026: a rare Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges.

The price tagWhat do Carlos Sainz’s watches cost?
The Richard Mille models Sainz has worn, such as the RM UP-01 Ferrari, run into the millions of kronor. But since he lacks a personal deal, it is unclear how much of it he owns himself versus wears via team and brand.
