Superocean Auto 36 White Dial
$7,600
Description
In the 1960s, the new sport of scuba diving was all the rage. For divers, timing was everything, and Breitling set out to give them the most clear-cut dive watch possible by eliminating any feature that did not support their lifesaving needs underwater. This pared-down watch was named the Slow Motion. What remained were clean lines, chunky luminescent indexes, squared-off hands and a high-contrast dial ring, all aimed at maximum legibility. This new Superocean retraces the Slow Motion’s celebrated design codes, while adding modern features such as ceramic inlayed bezel and brightly coloured dials. The timepiece features a sturdy 36mm stainless steel & 18ct rose gold case paired with a unidirectional bezel and offered on a white rubber strap option with folding clasp buckle. The model is powered with an automatic movement design which has the water resistance of 300 metres and a power reserve of approx. 38 hours.
