Oris produced one of the coolest community collaborations we have seen in a long time. Working with its own fanbase through the so-called Oris Social Club, the brand created a watch together with its enthusiasts. That is genuinely rare in the watch world, a piece made for a broad and engaged community rather than just a handful of insiders. The result is a white-dial Oris Divers Sixty-Five – a first for the model – with a caseback that changes city by city.

A caseback unique to each city
The back of the watch is where it gets really special. Each city with an Oris Social Club chapter gets the watch engraved with artwork designed by that chapter’s ambassador together with Oris. So a US chapter might feature an iconic New York landmark, while the Stockholm chapter carries a design inspired by its own city. That detail makes each city’s caseback genuinely rare and collectible.
A watch brand making a piece together with its community? It feels both completely logical and quietly brilliant, and it is exactly the kind of grassroots, fan-first thinking that has earned Oris so much goodwill among enthusiasts.

The caseback is Stockholm City Hall
The Stockholm chapter’s engraving depicts the City Hall tower – complete with the three crowns on top, just like the real building. We took the watch to City Hall and held the caseback up against the tower: the motif lines up exactly. That kind of local grounding is what makes the OSC | STH edition more than just a white dial.
The heritage: Oris divers of 1965
The Divers Sixty-Five is Oris’s reinterpretation of the brand’s own dive watches from the mid-1960s – the name points straight at 1965. We set the modern Social Club model next to an Oris original from that era (ORIS Waterproof, Anti-Shock, 17 jewels), and the family resemblance is immediate: the same slim case, domed crystal and clean, functional dial. The reissue is modern in size and materials, but the DNA comes straight from the original.

Why it matters
Limited collaborations are nothing new in watchmaking, but most are with celebrities, athletes, or other brands. Building one with the people who actually love and wear the watches is a different and refreshing idea.
