For 2026, Longines adds new pieces to both the DolceVita and the Mini DolceVita, and it is one of the more well-executed launches we have seen from the brand in a while. Not because anything revolutionary is happening — that is the point. These are watches that know exactly what they are.
DolceVita – three new colours and a living dial
The “regular” DolceVita gets three new models for 2026 with what Longines calls flinqué dials — an old enamel-engraving technique that gives the surface geometric patterns that almost seem to move in the light. It sounds like a small detail, but it makes a real difference in person. Combined with the Art Deco aesthetic of the rectangular case and Roman numerals in gilt, rose-gold tone, or blue, these watches land in a very safe and handsome design language.

Mini DolceVita – here something actually happens
If the DolceVita is the assured classic, the Mini DolceVita 2026 is the real talking point of the year. For the first time in the collection, Longines has used snow setting on the dial — 163 diamonds placed individually in a free-flowing pattern rather than in rows. The result is a dial that looks as if someone dropped a handful of diamonds and they landed perfectly. Together with mother-of-pearl inserts that give a shimmering depth, it genuinely looks like a jewellery watch without feeling overdone.
We watch nerds often like to stick to mechanical complications and technical innovation, but this is a case where we have to tip our hats to the craft. Snow setting is time-consuming and demands skill — each stone is set by hand. That Longines chooses to introduce it in the DolceVita family feels right, because it is a collection that has always had one foot in the jewellery world.
The Mini case measures 21.50 × 29.00 mm and comes with either a blue satin-like leather strap or a flexible steel bracelet with 198 assembled links.

This is a well-balanced launch. The DolceVita base model gets a solid update with new colours and animated dials without losing its identity, and the Mini version takes a genuine step forward with the snow setting. Longines is a brand that can sometimes feel a little sleepy, but when it does what it is good at — elegant, rectangular, Art Deco-inspired — it delivers consistently.
