Breitling is stepping into a global, multi-year partnership with Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team as Official Watch Partner. The collaboration ties British high-performance motoring to Swiss watchmaking precision — two brands with a shared obsession for speed, technology, and design where every detail has a clear function.
The starting gun for the partnership is the launch of the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, a model that marks Breitling’s return to Formula 1® and sets the tone for the exclusive releases to come.

Two legacies shaped by speed
Both Breitling and Aston Martin were born from the urge to push limits. As early as 1907, Léon Breitling presented one of the first precision instruments for measuring speed, while Aston Martin’s reputation grew through racing where performance and engineering took centre stage. Over the following decades both became icons of style and technology — on the wrist and on the road respectively. The motorsport link runs deep: Aston Martin debuted in Formula 1® in the mid-20th century, and in the same era Breitling’s chronographs were worn by drivers who needed precise timing even outside the cockpit. Legendary F1 names such as Jim Clark and Graham Hill wore Navitimers in the 1960s.
Official Watch Partner of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team
The partnership spans the entire Aston Martin universe — from hand-built performance cars to the technically advanced F1® programme. Breitling’s presence will appear on both cars and team equipment through the season, reinforcing the link between timing, aerodynamics, and millimetre precision. This is a collaboration where values meet: engineering accuracy, uncompromising quality, and a clear design identity.

Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team
The first joint model is a clear tribute to the racing world and Aston Martin’s Formula 1 heritage. The colour theme is Aston Martin Racing Green with lime accents drawn from the team’s visual identity, over a carbon-fibre dial that recalls the materials of an F1 cockpit. Most notably, the case is in titanium — the first time the material has been used in a Navitimer, chosen for its low weight and high strength. An embossed leather strap takes inspiration from a racing harness, and night-time legibility is enhanced for clear reading in all light conditions, with the Navitimer’s iconic scales and wordmarks rendered in luminous material.
A movement built for precision under pressure
Through the open sapphire caseback you can see the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, an in-house automatic chronograph movement known for its reliability and exact timekeeping. It is a COSC-certified chronometer running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with around 70 hours of power reserve, built on a column wheel and vertical clutch for precise chronograph function across its 346 components. A specially developed tungsten rotor in matte-black PVD carries the team logo, while engraving — including the inscription “Instruments for Drivers” and individual numbering — underlines the model’s limited nature.

Dimensions and construction
The titanium case measures 43 mm in diameter and 13.69 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug of 49.07 mm. A cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial, the screwed sapphire caseback shows the movement, and the bidirectional polished titanium bezel keeps the classic Navitimer slide-rule in a modern guise. Water resistance is 30 metres, suited to everyday wear. The combination of low weight, robust construction, and advanced mechanics makes the model relevant to enthusiasts of both haute horlogerie and motorsport.

A model for collectors and racing enthusiasts
The edition is limited to 1,959 pieces, directly referencing 1959 — the year Aston Martin first entered Formula 1®. That makes the model especially interesting for collectors who appreciate historical references, technical innovation, and a clear connection to top-level motorsport. Priced at around USD 11,500, this is not just a watch with a logo — it is a thoroughly worked collaboration where design language, materials, and function all carry clear traces of the racing world.
